Sun, Sand, Sea and Music

Went for a run at Sentosa today!
Think the last time i went there was during the Real run ? And that was in Aug !
And that time was also talking abt doing a walk around Sentosa with mx, but till now, we still havent find a time to let our feet do the walking !
Everyone with busy with their own stuff and procrastination plays a part too. We will always tell ourselves that "there is tommorrow" to do this and that. And before we know it, it is coming to 2007 soon! Think I must really tell myself to just do things i want to do and stop sitting on them and procrastinating! Who knows what will happen tmr and whether will there be a tmr?

Bus driver had arranged to pick us up at the linkway near St James Power Station. SJPS is the next happening club in town. Heard that it is a canto club, they even have KTV rooms ?!

Started the run @ around 7 am. Apparently the route we are running is parts of the real run routes, passing by the beaches, cutting into the trails. I have requested to run into Sentosa Cove, never been inside before, should take a look since it is the "most desirable address" in Singapore.
It is relatively deep inside, we had to pass by the big gigantic Satellite dishes. The weather is really good this morning, although abit tad too sunny. But it is a clear blue sky day, I love it when the skies are so blue. Spotted a unique tree, which is tall and bare. It look so nice, peaceful and scenic with the blue skies as it backdrop. Requested bus driver to shoot a photo of it.

Went further in, spotted 2 ugly bridges, it just doesnt fit into the whole picture. Spotted somemore "unique looking" trees. The tree look as if it has been chopped off of its top and they had transplant branches and leaves from other trees to its trunk. Maybe this will quicken tree growth ? There were already quite a no. of yachts docked at the marina.

This is why i really like running. To breathe in the fresh air, to enjoy the scenary, to have these tiny bits of things which spice up my life. Life is really beautiful with them.

By the time Im out of Sentosa Cove, Im already very tired, still must run back to school bus. My mind was just thinking of "are we there yet?" .... "What is for breakfast?" Finally, we are THERE ! Quickly take our stuff and head down to the showering facilities very near to the ludge area. Really nice and clean bathroom, pipe with music from Lush 99.5. Realise that they have locker facilities too. Hmmm ... next time I can come Sentosa to jog since Ican tumpang my stuff at these lockers! Nice !

Wanted to go Pret-A-Manager for breakfast, but they were closed. Head down to Maxwell for breakfast instead. While the rest went back, I head down to Ikea to buy some xmas gifts for my colleagues. Oh man! I was really tired, dozing off on the bus. Cant wait to just snuggle on my bed when i reach home!

Tonight is Corrine may concert! Yippee !
