The "Sabo" games that we have thought of.
1) Sour, Sweet, Bitter, Hot
(a) Sour - suck a slice of lemon
(b) Sweet- a cup of concentrated sugar water
(c) Bitter - eat raw bittergourd
(d) Hot - Wasabi mixed with Coke
2) Kiss on the Xi3 Word
One of the bros will be blindfolded, using a lipstick to draw on the groom's lips, then the groom will need to make an imprint of the lips on the 4 Kou3 of the Xi3 word.
3) Singing
Yoga position - 1 leg stand and sing a song
4) 3 strands of hair
Pluck 3 strands of groom's hair. This is a special request by my friend.
The groom was supposed to reach her place by 8 am. But when the photographer called him @ 8 am, he was still at home ?! He thought (purposely I believe) that they were only scheduled to reach @ 830 am!
Groom and Bros finally came around 820 am.
Me started to "scold" them for the lateness. Demanded an ang pow from them as a form of "punishment".
1st ang pow was S$88
Proceed on with the 1st game. Demanded another ang pow.
2nd ang pow was a stack of S$2 notes. No idea how much was it worth.
2nd game continued. Asked for another ang pow!
The groom n bros start to complain ... "what ? another ang pow?"
3rd ang pow think was only S$20
Opened the door for them to go into the house.
They think sabo finished? Not yet ... kekeke
We have planned for them to do the singing in the living room, so that the photographer can captured the moment. :)
Very fast all the games were completed. And with us collecting our final ang pow
The brothers were all very guai, do what we tell them to do. Never complain or wishy-washy about it. haha
And they must think Im a 3 8 Jie Mei, so crappy, talk so much and was demonstrating how to do yoga position and sing .. like some seow char bo.
Actually, how did this "groom n bros will get sabo during wedding" come about ?
Hers was just a church wedding with tea reception, no banquet dinner. Everything ended around 4 plus and my role as a jie mei also concluded by then.
They were my ex-colleagues in my 1st company. We have become close friends after going through thick and thin in the company.

Catch a movie.
Had dinner @ Va Va Vroom. Ate my fav bun-cha. I always feel healthy eating vietnam food. Its always seems so oil free.
We chose (1) sago pudding w avocado and (2) Black glutinous rice paste for dessert.
So far, this is the 1st and only place where I seen sago being made into pudding. Unique!
But this time round, it seems that there is too much coconut w the avocado sauce.
The black glutinous rice paste is very similar to our local dessert, just that this is in the form of paste. Interesting! I like it as it is not too sweet, just nice for my taste.
Nice cooling night just to sit outside, eat and nuah.
Walk around.
Walk till supreme court. Decide to just sit at the steps and chit-chat.
I always love the Supreme Court area. If Im not wrong, it only light up on weekend nights.
Sitting there, you can see the skyline of suntec, marina area .. which i think its very nice.
Sitting at Supreme Court give me a feeling of tranquility .. dont know why.
Reached home by midnight. Was already completely knock out on the bus.
Such a long day.
Maybe, we should all take the first step to conquer our fears ? You never try you never know. ... since we only live once?
